Action Alert: House Bill 2

Rep. Eric Albus, R-Glasgow, is carrying two amendments for the Montana Conservation Society to tap funds from Fish, Wildlife & Parks money for their own pockets. They have shown themselves to be enemies of Montana resident sportsmen and don’t deserve taxpayer dollars.

The first would give the Montana Conservation Society $125,000 from state funds and another $125,000 from federal funds annually for the next two years. The second would give $140,000 to the Dams for Donors program to help landowners create their own reservoirs.

To all legislators: Please Don’t pass any amendments to HB 2 from Eric Albus. He’s an outfitter and so he acts in the interest of outfitters, rich landowners, and other millionaires or billionaires.

Call your legislators and demand no appropriations for the Montana Conservation Society or their super rich supporters.
